Dr. Palmer is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist who provides comprehensive psychological and neuropsychological testing services as an independent contractor with Family Compass.  Dr. Palmer obtained her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the American School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University in Washington, DC and completed her pre-doctoral internship at the VA Maryland Health Care System/University of Maryland at Baltimore School of Medicine Consortium.

Dr. Palmer has worked in various settings including schools, outpatient clinics, hospitals, and private practice. Her clinical training also includes working with pediatric populations at Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, D.C. and serving as a Consultation-Liaison for youth in medical settings.  She has special interest in assessing learning and developmental challenges among children and adolescents, including ADHD and learning disabilities along with specific expertise in conducting Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) evaluations.  Also, she conducts comprehensive psychological evaluations for complex diagnoses in need of diagnostic clarification.
